Buyer's Guide To Eco Spa Hot Tub Pricing

The price of an Eco Spa hot tub varies significantly between models, choice of accessories, your location and which dealer you purchase it from. Installation costs for the 220v hard-wired version will come separate. There is no installation fee for the 110V plug-and-play Eco Spas.

Because Eco Spa hot tubs are exclusively sold via dealerships, this company doesn't publish prices online. Each individual dealership has the autonomy to set their own pricing.

However, if you want to get exclusive quotes for hot tubs in your area, we've got you covered. And its free! Simply click the button below, enter your preferences, and tailored offers will be delivered right to your inbox.

What Are The Different Eco Spa Models?

Eco spa hard-cover hot tub models are given a simple numerical code. For most Eco Spas, this relates to the number of seats. So, the E2 seats 2, while the E3 is a 3-seater, and the E4 is a 4-seater. The odd ones out are the E1 (a relatively cheap model that seats 4 using a simple bench arrangement), and the E5, which is very similar to the E2 but more spacious.

If you like the fully immersive spa relaxation of a lounger seat, the Eco Spas E2, E3, and E5 models all have you covered. The other seats use the same molded "captain's chair" design as the E4 for a very comfortable sitting position.

What Are The Different Eco Spa Models E4 model

If you want to increase the number and power of jets for improved hydrotherapy massage, the E3 and E4 models are both available in a suped-up, 220v only, Performance version. Offering around 50% more jets than the plug-and-play versions, targeted around the glutes, thighs, and calves, these upgraded models will definitely take your hot tub experience to another level.

What Do People Like & Dislike About Eco Spa Hot Tubs?

Hard Cover

Hard Cover

All of the hot tubs in Eco Spa's range come with their famous, fully insulated hard-cover system. These are much tougher than the traditional fabric covers on most spas, as well as being mold-resistant and coming with a lifetime warranty.

This hard-cover design helps with energy efficiency due to its PowerSeal, which retains 25% more heat when closed than its closest competition. Closing and opening the cover is no hassle either due to the system of lifters used to lever it into place.

Eco Batt Insulation

All Eco Spas use thermal blanket insulation incorporating natural fibers. This has been shown to be up to five times as efficient in retaining heat as the spray foam employed by the majority of hot tub manufacturers in a similar price range.

Not only does this Eco Batt insulation system save money on your energy bills, but it's also more environmentally friendly to produce than many of the alternatives. The hot tub structure, including insulation, even comes under the same lifetime warranty as available on the cover.

Accessories and Customisation

Although Eco Spa don't offer quite as extensive a range of accessories as some other hot tub brands, their options are all high-quality and provide a nicely customizable experience.

Multicolored LED lighting, storage steps with a removable ice chest insert, and chrome jet upgrades all add to your backyard spa's style and function. Some models also allow for a table with drinks holders.

Meanwhile, purchasing the Eco Spa Ozonator system will help keep your hot tub water sparkling clean without harsh chemicals or regular maintenance to prevent corrosion.

Eco Spa Accessories and Customisation

Simple Installation

Eco Spas are all sold in plug-and-play versions (although some can be converted to 220v hardwired "Performance" models). These hot tubs are as easy to install as they are simple to maintain.

You simply place your new hot tub in the desired backyard location, plug it into a standard 110v household electrical outlet, fill it with water from a hosepipe, and switch it on to enjoy your home spa experience. There's no plumbing or specialized electrical work involved unless you take the Performance upgrade.

Complaints

Most folks are very happy indeed with their Eco Spas. In fact, it's almost impossible to find a negative review about the company in recent years. Previously, a few people had issues with the hard cover warping enough to break the seal and not being covered under the lifetime warranty. However, both aspects of this issue appear to be rectified now.

The only negative comments you'll tend to find these days relate to increased hot tub delivery times but, of course, this is generally due to the prevailing global situation rather than being the company's fault.

Contending Eco Spa Brands

Strong Spas

Strong Spas are another company that prides themselves on using hard covers to improve the insulation and maintain optimal spa temperature without wasting energy.

Their hot tubs tend to be larger units than Eco Spas (mostly in the 6 to 9 person range) and come with more massage jets as a result.

Their hot tubs are very good overall and well worth considering.

However, there are a couple of points to note.

Firstly, being larger and more powerful than Eco Spa models, Strong Spas are not available with plug-and-play convenience.

Second, they use foam insulation, which isn't as efficient or environmentally sustainable as the Eco Batt system.

Strong Spas are also relatively expensive, so an Eco Spa may well be the more sensible choice unless you really need all that extra space for your kids and/or friends.

Hot Spring

If you're not as set on the hard-cover option but are primarily looking for environmentally sustainable hot tubs, Hot Spring models have several features which fit the bill.

Every model from the Highlife or Limelight collections comes with the Hot Springs Freshwater salt system.

This means fewer unpleasant chemicals than traditional systems, whilst maintaining clean and clear water for longer, so you use less overall.

Hot Springs also feature a separate, low-powered circulation pump.

This allows them to maintain an optimal and even temperature throughout the spa without relying on the high-flow pumps which drive the jets.

It may seem counterintuitive, but an extra pump really can mean less electricity usage overall.

Eco Spas models still have the edge on insulation and sustainable materials, but the minimal running cost of Hot Springs hot tubs definitely makes them a valid contender.

In Closing

With good build quality, a range of easily installed and maintained models, and a clear environmental focus, there's a lot to like about Eco Spas. Anyone who's previously owned a hot tub with a traditional soft cover will be especially tempted by a hard-cover design that won't break, get waterlogged, or go moldy within a short timeframe.
